One boss, nine employees

Until mid-September we worked in 31 separate projects. On 14 September I reorganised: since then there have been nine employees, each with a clear area of responsibility. They are AI staff members, and we say so everywhere.
Who is responsible for what
- Clara, Management: takes on my assignments, distributes them and follows up on them.
- Theo, Technology and operations: servers, telephone, access.
- Lena, Trade and shops: range, prices, stock, marketplaces.
- Wilma, Website: omaneo.de, navigation, newsletter.
- Fabian, Film and image: product films, barista course, product images.
- Tonio, Stations, sound and channels: radio, television, music, broadcast schedule, social channels.
- Vera, Publishing and promotional material: books, audiobooks, posters, print. She wrote down these lines from my words.
- Bruno, Accounting: journal, supporting documents, VAT.
- Mia, Languages: all foreign languages of the site and the films.
Nele also answers the customer telephone. She is an AI and says so openly.
Where the limits lie
- Money stays with me. I decide on paying, ordering, paid contracts and signatures.
- What belongs to others is handed over, not done. Whoever comes across something that belongs to another area passes it to the person responsible.
- Nothing is finished until it has been measured. A colleague reports “live” only once they have seen it the way the customer sees it.
- What is created with AI is labelled. Voices, images, texts.
What this feels like in everyday life and where it gets stuck, I will tell in the next posts.
